With straight needle and MC…..knit to last st, p1 - 2 sts dec'd.
Rep the previous 2 rows 7 more times, then rep  row 1 once more, ending after a WS row - 19 sts.

Change to CC (see chart for which CC to use in each square)
Next row: (RS) Work row 2 as above using CC.
Work rows 1 and 2 as above 6 times - 5 sts remain.
Complete square following directions in magazine.

Lace pat 2 should be worked one more time on the Fronts.

RIGHT FRONT
Cast on….Work in lace pat 1 for 2½"/6.5cm, end with pat row 2.
Work rows 1 - 10 of lace pat 2.

Cont with (RS) Knit short row shaping and complete pattern as directed.

Be sure to add the above correction when working the Left front.
